Mamoru-kun wa Norowarete Shimatta! ~Meikai Katsugeki Wide-han~ (PS3) – I preordered this after I tried the demo. Pretty neat cute-’em-up that is like a mashup of an overhead run-and-gun like Commando or Mercs, but with the bullet patterns and sensibilities of a shmup.
This is only my second import PS3 title with the first not counting all that much since it was Ninja Gaiden Σ (which I got at the time to test out the region-free-ness of the PS3). I was hoping that because the PS3 was region-free that I’d be importing for it more often, but pretty much everything I ever want for it has made it’s way here in some form. Hell, for all I know this game will get a PSN release in the future for us. Arcana Heart 3 is a fighter that I was looking to import too, but it seems that Aksys will be publishing it on PSN for us later this year. The good thing about everything coming out here is that it certainly saves me a lot of money!
I have finally put aside Marvel vs. Capcom 3 for a little bit in order to start God of War III. I’m about 2 hours in and it brings the same epic awesomeness that God of War is known for, but on an even grander scale than ever before!
